[ad_1]

Boeing’s first Starliner capsule to the Worldwide Area Station is formally open for astronauts dwelling on board  the orbiting lab.

The industrial Starliner spacecraft, which arrived Friday on an uncrewed take a look at flight to the station, was opened by NASA astronaut Robert Hines at 12:04 p.m. EDT (1604 GMT) to start about 5 days of checks on the capsule. It is a main milestone for Boeing and NASA’s Industrial Crew Program, which picked Boeing and SpaceX to fly astronauts to the Worldwide Area Station in 2014.
